VISION

ONE432 is an "Equal Share" Design Philosophy by Ammar Belal, a professor at Parsons School of Design, that embodies an unprecedented standard of Equality, Transparency and Responsibility within the fashion industry.

IMPACT

ONE432 shares 50% of the ACTUAL NET PROFITS from each unit sold, with its ARTISANS and sponsoring a child's EDUCATION in Pakistan.

Ammar was the first individual from South Asia/Middle East region to be offered a place in the prestigious Parsons MFA Fashion program, where he conceived ONE432, and was recruited to teach straight after his New York Fashion Week debut. His trans-disciplinary narrative of consistently teaching in both programs (BFA Fashion, BBA Business) is part of an evolving vision to explore the harmony between Conceptual Design, Social Entrepreneurship, and Activism. In 2020, he wrote and started teaching a new course called "Sustainable Fashion & Startup Strategy" at Columbia University's Sustainability Management program. Along with leading the creative team at ONE432, Ammar continues to serve a select NY clientele with his, “Custom Design - Not Just Tailored”, eponymous custom menswear label.

STORY

Ammar spent his childhood between Boston, Geneva, and Lahore, before moving to Pakistan full-time at the age of 22 to join the family business of big box garment manufacturing. The lack of design input associated with mass manufacturing motivated him to launch a Bespoke Denim label, which deciphered traditional couture techniques into street-wear; which evolved into Pakistan’s first luxury Menswear brand with multiple physical retail stores.

The next 10 years saw Ammar Belal Menswear grow to be a premier lifestyle brand with Ammar winning national design awards for “Best Emerging Talent”, “Best Original Song” and “Best Menswear”. The retail success of his namesake label left Ammar wanting to explore new challenges beyond a corporate empire and reevaluate a personal identity focused on community.
